Transfers are in!

Well Elder Hall was Transferred off the island of Lanai this last week. He is now serving in Kaneohe on the island of Oahu. Collin was also made a District Leader. From what we hear, he is in for a challenge!

October 12th marks his one year. One year down, one year to go!

Aloha Again!

Aloha friends and family! Elder Collin Hall has been out 8 months tomorrow. "Time flies when your having fun" as Collin put it in his last letter. We have received some pictures from him recently.

Most of you already know that he is now on the island of Lanai, he and his companion are the only missionaries on the island of 3000 people. Collin is now the senior companion and apparently his companion is about 5'2 and 100lbs. I'm sure they look hilarious walking/riding their bikes around together. Collin is in great spirits and loving life.

Here are a few of the picture we received! Don't forget that Collin loves to hear from all of you! His address is still the same as it always has been.

Welcome to Hawaii!

As all of you know already, Collin is in Hawaii. His Mission President's wife sent these photo's to my mom of the first day Collin was there. He is in the "hood" of the Hawaii he says, in Makaha, Hawaii. He is biking almost 5 miles a day and is sure he has lost weight thanks to all the sweating, biking, and lack of momma's cooking/ Sonic. Collin and his companion are having great success and have 3 baptisms promised this month. In his last letter he left us with a great thought..

Don't be ashamed, Live it, Love it, Embrace it!

Leavin on a Jet Plane

I got a little behind on posting because of the birth of Collin's first nephew, Beckett, but now we about to back in business so get ready for some news from the sunny shore's of Hawaii. BUT first.. We need to back track a little bit.

These are pictures of the day Collin left for the Missionary Training Center. His flight to Salt Lake City left very early in the morning from Amarillo. When he reached SLC, Ryan, Collin's brother, and his wife, Juliette, picked him up and took him down and dropped him off 50 miles south in Provo.

ALOHA!

Collin is officially in Hawaii! He arrived on November 1st. He called my parents from the airport let them know that he is doing great. He was going to be staying the night in the mission home the first night and then out in the mission field on the 2nd. How exciting! He did mention that he would love more letters from friends and family (something I'm sure all missionaries want).

Here is his new updated address!
